Last Update:

It’s natural for us to assist a baby when they fall; the same goes for elephants. A video recently captured the incredible moment when a herd of elephants rushed to help a baby elephant that had stumbled in the middle of a busy road in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

The traffic stopped as the young elephant struggled to get back on its feet, ultimately lying flat on the pavement.

In response, several more enormous elephants from the herd intervened, gently pushing and prodding the calf with their trunks and feet to help it stand up.
