In a heartwarming scene, a lost elephant calf rejoiced with a roar as it reunited with its family, thanks to a dedicated rescue team in Tamil Nadu.
The calf, separated from its herd in Mudumalai National Park in southern India, was found and guided back by the forest department’s rescue team.

The team, consisting of four park rangers, carefully led the young elephant along a lush green path to safety.
Footage captures the touching moment as the baby elephant, estimated to be just a few months old, closely follows one of its rescuers clad in khaki camouflage.
Another team member can be seen gently encouraging the calf from behind, ensuring its safe passage.
A follow-up video posted online shows the calf walking down a narrow earth track before emerging onto an open path.
Upon seeing its family, the calf pauses and lets out a joyful roar, expressing its happiness at the reunion.
The heartwarming scene concludes with the calf trotting eagerly toward its mother, believed to be just out of the camera’s view, completing a successful and emotional rescue operation by the Tamil Nadu forest department.
