The older elephants watched as Mambo and Limpopo ran around with the impala. Setombe and Bubi, two elephant cows, found the game amusing and ran alongside the impala.

Setombe, wanting to share the fun, called out to the other elephants. While waiting for them, Mambo continued to chase the impala. Soon, another elephant arrived—Bubi’s son, who greeted his mother warmly with touching trunks.

Setombe’s calls grew louder as she asserted her dominance over the impala, lifting her head high to appear more imposing.

More elephants joined in, and Setombe began stomping her feet, making a lot of noise. The other elephants imitated her, adding to the roaring and stomping.

Eventually, the younger elephants grew tired of the game and became interested in the sand mounds, distracted by their surroundings like typical youngsters.

The game ended as the elephant herd gathered to enjoy each other’s company. The impala also rested from the chase, now able to forage peacefully.
