Who says little dogs can’t be protective? Recently, a small dog in Grand Lake, Colorado, demonstrated how loyal and fearless they can be when faced with danger.
Dash, the tiny dog, and his owner, Sarah, had an unexpected encounter when a mountain lion appeared at their doorstep.
Sarah noticed something was off when Dash, who usually responded immediately to her calls, didn’t come when she called for him.
Concerned by Dash’s unusual behavior, Sarah went to the dining room, only to be met with the shocking sight of a mountain lion standing still on her patio, fixated on the little dog.
The lion began moving slowly towards Dash while Sarah watched in fear, knowing only a glass door separated her beloved pet from the predator.
Despite the danger, Dash remained unfazed, refusing to back down. Curious about the tiny dog, the mountain lion seemed to be looking for a way inside but ultimately decided to retreat to the mountains after failing to find an entrance.
Thankfully, both Sarah and Dash were unharmed. The courageous dog quickly became an online sensation, with many praising his bravery and protective instincts.
