Scarlett Johansson made a stunning entrance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, supporting her husband, Colin Jost.
The Black Widow star, 39, who has been married to the Saturday Night Live comedian since 2020, turned heads as she arrived at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC, alongside her husband, the event’s host.
Johansson’s signature blonde hair flowed gracefully over her shoulders, complementing her radiant smile.
Holding hands and sharing a laugh on the red carpet, the couple appeared to be in great spirits, showing their bond is as strong as ever. The couple also has a 2-year-old son named Cosmo.
The night before, Johansson joined Jost at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Kickoff Party for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, a gesture that showcased their close relationship.
The White House Correspondents’ Dinner, hosted by Jost, attracts a variety of celebrities, comedians, journalists, and high-profile politicians, including President Joe Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
Kelly O’Donnell, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, expressed excitement about Jost’s role in the event.
“Colin Jost knows how to make Saturday nights funny,” she said. “His sharp insights perfectly meet this remarkable time of divided politics and a presidential campaign careening toward a rematch.”
Johansson and Jost have been together since 2017 and announced their engagement in 2019, eventually marrying in 2020.
They welcomed their son, Cosmo, in August 2021. The couple’s choice of name for their son has an amusing backstory, with Johansson and Jost sharing light-hearted anecdotes about the reactions from family and friends.
Johansson, who also shares a 9-year-old daughter, Rose, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac, explained that the name Cosmo was inspired by the flower, which comes in various shades of orange and yellow.
Jost’s mother had more difficulty accepting the unique name, suggesting alternatives like “Cosimo.”
The loving couple continues to thrive, both in their careers and personal lives, proving that Hollywood romances can indeed have happy endings.
