Scarlett Johansson Shines at Toronto International Film Festival

Last Update:

Scarlett Johansson made headlines recently for her public support of Woody Allen despite past allegations against him.

Still, her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of her latest film, Marriage Story, showed her star power remained undiminished.

Arriving in a striking strapless monochrome dress, Johansson’s ensemble showcased her sense of style.

The thigh-skimming number gathered at the hip with an extended panel cascading to mid-calf was complemented by perspex toe heels featuring bright blue trim and ankle straps.

She accessorized with matching colored pendant earrings, while her blonde hair was elegantly styled in a bun.

However, the low-cut back of her dress caught the eye, revealing intricate rose and lamb tattoos adorning her back.

Despite the controversy surrounding her recent comments, Johansson’s presence was met with enthusiasm from fans eager to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood star.

In Marriage Story, Johansson stars alongside Adam Driver in portraying a husband and wife navigating a coast-to-coast divorce.

Directed by Noah Baumbach and featuring a stellar cast including Laura Dern, Ray Liotta, and Alan Alda, the film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in August and is set to be released in select theaters on November 6 before hitting Netflix on December 6.

Meanwhile, Adam Driver, who also attended the Toronto International Film Festival, juggled multiple projects, such as his film The Report, which was screened alongside Marriage Story.

In The Report, based on actual events, Driver portrays a Senate staffer investigating the CIA’s use of torture during interrogations of terrorism suspects.

With its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, The Report is scheduled for theatrical release on November 15 before streaming on Amazon Prime from November 29.
