Scarlett Johansson Channels Timeless Glamour in NYC

Last Update:

Scarlett Johansson, known for her captivating beauty and timeless fashion sense, brought classic Hollywood glamour to New York City on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old actress channeled a vintage style with 1940s-inspired waves in her hair, bright red lipstick, and a chic belted camel coat as she arrived at the David Letterman studios.

Johansson’s outfit was a mix of modern and classic elements, featuring a vivid blue dress under her coat and bedazzled peep-toe stilettos.

She accessorized with oversized black Karen Walker cat-eye sunglasses, although she later removed them as she exited the studio, flashing a warm smile.

Despite the cold Manhattan weather, she confidently showed her toned legs with a high-slit dress.

Her retro look wasn’t just for fashion; Scarlett has been busy with several film projects. She recently voiced Samantha, a computer operating system, in Spike Jonze’s film “Her.”

The movie explores the relationship between a depressed man, Theodore (played by Joaquin Phoenix), and the AI system, with a supporting cast including Amy Adams and Olivia Wilde.

Earlier this year, Scarlett was filming Luc Besson’s “Lucy” alongside Morgan Freeman in Paris. In the film, Scarlett plays a woman forced to carry drugs for a dealer, only to gain extraordinary powers when some of the illegal substance leaks into her system. “Lucy” is set to be released on August 8 in the US and August 22 in the UK.

Additionally, Johansson will reprise her role as Black Widow in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” hitting UK theaters on March 28 and US theaters on April 4. She will also return in “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” slated for a 2015 release.
