Scarlett Johansson spent a rainy day in the Hamptons stocking up on groceries for her family. The 35-year-old actress, known for her role in Avengers: Endgame, was dressed warmly in a thick beige V-neck sweater paired with a black, frayed-hem skirt.
She kept her look casual with black sandals and tied her hair back in a relaxed bun. Scarlett also wore a blue surgical mask as a precaution against COVID-19.
Her fiancé, Saturday Night Live comedian Colin Jost, and her six-year-old daughter, Rose Dauriac, were absent during the outing.
Scarlett and Colin, who started dating in 2017 and got engaged in May 2019, postponed their wedding plans due to the pandemic.
Colin shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that restrictions on gatherings are a major consideration, saying, “This is not the time to get all your elderly, at-risk relatives together in one big group.”
In his recent memoir, A Very Punchable Face, Jost recalled being captivated and intimidated when he first met Scarlett on the set of SNL in 2006, admiring her “grace and smile.”
Scarlett, previously married to Romain Dauriac, with whom she shares her daughter Rose, and actor Ryan Reynolds, has since continued her career with standout roles.
Scarlett’s upcoming film Black Widow, set for release on October 28 in the UK and November 6 in the US, explores her character’s past as an ex-KGB agent working with fellow assassin Yelena, played by Florence Pugh.
Scarlett shared with Empire magazine that the film addresses timely issues tied to the #MeToo movement, with director Cate Shortland emphasizing themes of women supporting one another.
The movie follows Scarlett’s successful 2019, marked by roles in Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit, the former earning her an Oscar nomination. Black Widow also stars David Harbour, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz.
