Scarlett Johansson brings her signature allure to the screen as a captivating 1950s actress in the Coen Brothers’ upcoming comedy, Hail, Caesar!
The trailer, featuring a lineup of Hollywood stars including George Clooney and Channing Tatum, introduces Johansson as a show-stopping mermaid dressed in a sparkling silver tiara and an emerald, shimmering mermaid costume.

Set against a vintage Hollywood backdrop, Johansson first appears on a studio lot, wearing a deep-green halterneck dress with a plunging neckline highlighting her iconic figure.
Smiling brightly in red lipstick, her long blonde hair braided into an elegant bun and crowned with a radiant tiara, she embodies old Hollywood glamour.

In a dazzling sequence, she clutches a large staff, soaring through the air before plunging dramatically into a pool surrounded by synchronized swimmers dressed in yellow.
Later, she’s seen with vintage curls, bold eye makeup, and a classic red lip, dressed in a fitted white top and jacket, adding to her glamorous transformation.
In the story, Johansson’s character is enlisted by Hollywood fixer Eddie Mannix, played by Josh Brolin, to charm Jonah Hill’s character for some needed cash.

Eddie faces a major challenge when the studio’s biggest star, Baird Whitlock (George Clooney), mysteriously disappears, leaving a ransom note that reads: “We have your movie star. Gather $100,000 and await instructions. Who are we? The Future.”
Eddie scrambles to keep the scandal under wraps, seeking the help of Capitol Pictures’ other stars, played by Channing Tatum, Ralph Fiennes, Alden Ehrenreich, and Johansson herself.
As the news spreads, Alden’s character voices everyone’s concern: “This is bad for movie stars everywhere.”

The tension builds as Tilda Swinton appears as a determined reporter, eager to uncover the studio’s secrets.
In a series of lively scenes, Johansson is shown swimming and Tatum dancing in a sailor suit, while Clooney’s character, Baird, finds himself bewildered in a room full of men in suits after his abduction. One of the men bluntly asks, “Wondering what’s going on?”
Set in the 1950s, Hail, Caesar! Follows Eddie Mannix’s efforts to maintain order in Hollywood’s most chaotic moments, culminating in the mysterious disappearance of the studio’s leading man.
