Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has delayed the premiere of her highly anticipated Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, in response to the devastating wildfires ravaging Los Angeles—her birthplace and hometown.
Originally set to debut on January 15, the lifestyle series, which showcases homemaking, gardening, and hosting tips, will now be released at a later date.
The decision comes as the wildfires have claimed at least 25 lives and destroyed thousands of homes, leaving countless families displaced.

Meghan and Prince Harry were recently seen volunteering at a food bank established to aid those affected. Reports also suggest the couple opened their Montecito home to friends forced to evacuate due to the fires.
An industry insider shared with People magazine that Meghan “could not imagine” proceeding with the show’s release during such a tragic time. “Delaying the release of With Love, Meghan was likely an easy decision for her.
I don’t think she could imagine putting out a show centered on joy and hosting when so many people in her home state no longer have homes to host people in,” they explained.

Critics have speculated that Meghan delayed the release to avoid the wildfires overshadowing her show. However, the insider dismissed this idea, saying, “We’re all human, and we’re dealing with a catastrophe.”
With Love, Meghan will feature celebrity guests and aim to transform everyday life into something extraordinary. Despite the delay, fans remain excited for the series and have praised Meghan’s compassionate decision.
Meghan isn’t the only celebrity pausing projects due to the wildfires. Beyoncé also postponed a highly anticipated announcement initially set for January 14. Affectionately dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl” after her Christmas Day NFL halftime performance, fans expected a new tour reveal. Instead, Beyoncé shared a heartfelt message explaining the postponement:
“The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles. I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss.”
Meghan Markle’s decision reflects her deep connection to her roots and her empathy for those impacted by the wildfires. As fans await the premiere of With Love, Meghan, her actions serve as a reminder of the importance of compassion and prioritizing community during times of crisis.
