During a visit to Chennai, India, I learned about a female dog in need. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived, she was nowhere to be found. Later that evening, around 10:30, I came across a puppy lying helplessly in the rain.
Instinctively, I decided to take him in, naming him Harry. The sight of his suffering made me question why such cruelty towards animals exists.
Harry’s situation was dire due to a severe case of mange. This skin condition left him in constant discomfort and pain, and he was oblivious to anything other than the relentless itching and scratching.

Even though it was late, I gave Harry a medicated bath to provide him some relief from his torment.
Finally, after a long night, Harry fell asleep at around three in the morning. Watching him rest, I was determined to help him recover from his past struggles. The next day, after a hearty breakfast, we made a trip to the vet for further treatment.

The veterinarian diagnosed Harry with intense scabies and began treating him accordingly. To ensure the safety of other dogs, Harry needed to be kept in isolation.
Despite these hurdles, I was overjoyed to see Harry start to improve, eagerly seeking affection and attention.

With each passing day, Harry’s health got better, and eventually, he was ready to leave the clinic. His transformation from a suffering pup to a lively and content dog was heartwarming.
Harry’s journey highlighted the importance of commitment, patience, and the incredible impact of love and trust.
