Staring into a dog’s eyes often reveals emotions, and for Nora, her gaze was one filled with sorrow. All she ever longed for was love, but instead, she faced neglect and rejection. Her heartless owners abandoned both her and her tiny pup in a parking lot.
People passing by chose to ignore Nora’s misery while she lay on the hard surface, feeling utterly defeated. Little did she realize that her life was about to change for the better.

Employees at a nearby store noticed the despondent canine duo. They began feeding Nora and her puppy daily and even left toys in an effort to cheer them up. Wanting to help them find a permanent home, they reached out to Howl Of A Dog, a non-profit organization dedicated to animal rescue.
When the rescue team from Howl Of A Dog arrived, they were struck with compassion upon seeing Nora’s sad figure. Not able to comprehend why anyone would treat their pets this way, a rescuer gently approached Nora and lovingly stroked her head.
Nora showed no interest in moving, seemingly weighed down by hopelessness. But as her rescuer continued to offer gentle affection, Nora gradually began to respond. Closing her eyes, she soaked in the affection, her tail wagging tentatively.
Despite past disappointments with humans, Nora and her daughter, now named Eva, placed their trust in these rescuers. They were soon taken to a veterinarian for a check-up, while the rescue team lavished them with care and attention. Spending time with kind humans renewed their belief in a brighter future.
The team at Howl Of A Dog was able to fulfill this dream by finding them a loving forever home. Thrilled by their fresh start, the mother and daughter duo bonded with their new family, who showered them with the affection they deserved. Now Nora and Eva live happily with their human family and even enjoy playing with a new furry sibling.
Nora’s once sorrowful eyes now glimmer with happiness, reassured by the love and safety surrounding her and her daughter. Thanks to kind individuals who took action, Nora and Eva found their place in the world. We can only hope that all abandoned and stray dogs receive the chance for a better future that they all deserve.
