Yesterday, a frail Doberman was found and named Albus Dumbledore by his rescuers. His plight is heart-wrenching, as he wags his tail despite his condition.
The unfortunate dog is in a dire situation. There is hope that he does not have cancer, but thorough examinations are underway to determine his needs.
He has a large, open tumor, respiratory issues, and a decreased appetite. The team is incredibly thankful to the generous individuals who helped locate him. Albus was eager to receive assistance.

After conducting numerous tests, the suspicion of cancer remains strong. Thankfully, Albus is now eating well, and seems to enjoy sunbathing.
The team is committed to doing everything possible to grant him the wonderful life he deserves. Albus shows a regal presence even in his condition.
He is also battling sarcoptic mange, which is being treated. Before surgeons can perform a major tumor removal and conduct comprehensive tests to understand the cancer type and stage, Albus needs to become more stable and healthy.

For now, his condition is stable, and there is optimism for his recovery. It is hard to imagine how anyone could allow a gentle and majestic creature to reach such a state.
However, his caretakers are determined to turn his story into one of triumph from despair.
Albus’s diet continues to improve, and his wounds are healing well. He plays joyfully with fellow dogs in the foster home, learning new things, like how to toilet train outdoors.

He even accompanies his foster mom, Mary, to work. Albus is truly remarkable, and supporters worldwide are rooting for him.
When he first arrived, Albus was thin, weak, and unwell, weighing a mere 54 pounds. Today, thanks to dedicated care, this joyful and healthy Doberman has reached an impressive 46 kilograms.
His eyes now glimmer with hope and confidence, and he proudly holds his head high. Albus and his rescuers extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this possible.
