Owner Gerardo Aguilar expressed his astonishment at Randy’s bravery, stating, “We were surprised to see how he reacted, and of course, we are proud of him.
Who knows how things would have ended if it hadn’t been for Randy? He shows us how grateful and happy he is with us.”
Beyond his heroic acts, Randy has also become a beloved figure among customers, like Nuria Arellano, who deliberately frequent the gas station to see him.
Arellano expressed her hope that Randy’s story will inspire more businesses to adopt strays like him, recognizing their positive impact on morale and safety.
“It would be wonderful if the culture changed and more rescued puppies were at other gas stations and stores. Let’s hope this happens one day,” she remarked.
